With a range of standard plans and options available, we can tailor these to your specific needs so there is an affordable solution for every customer's individual building and transportation requirements.
PLB's transportable homes are built under cover in our Huntly factory, then transported and placed on your site almost anywhere you require.
What makes a PLB Transportable Home so affordable?
Because construction takes place under cover at our Huntly factory, build time is not impeded by weather conditions and by operating in a controlled environment that is clean and dry, we can save our customers up to 40% in labour costs alone. Building under cover also allows us to achieve a higher standard of quality control for the entire building process.
PLB's transportable homes use the BRANZ accredited Metra Panel wall and ceiling system. Metra board comes in a panel size 7.3m long x 2.450m high and requires minimal joins and stopping compared to conventional Gib board. Its exceptional paint finish and superior strength makes it ideal for transportable housing.
